Mr. Sankaran Naren has been associated with the AMC since October 2004. He oversees the entire investment function across the Mutual Fund and the International Advisory Business of the Company.

Mr. Naren joined the AMC in 2004 as fund manager and has worked in various capacities in the investment function culminating in his taking over as the Chief Investment Officer. Under his leadership, the AMC has been able to build strong processes in investments resulting in strong and sustainable performance across product categories. He currently manages some of flagship schemes of the ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund.

Mr. Sankaran Naren has rich experience of around 30 years in almost all spectrum of the financial services industry ranging from investment banking, fund management, equity research, and stock broking operations.

Mr. Naren was also a member of the esteemed panel of invitees for the Honorable Prime Minister’s Pre-Budget consultation meet for 2020. In recognition of his work, various leading investment authors have featured him through dedicated chapters in their investment books. He is widely recognized as India’s leading Mutual Fund and Capital Market Investment Guru

Mr. Sankaran Naren is also a member of the Committee on Equity matters at AMFI.

During his career, he has also worked with organizations such as Refco Sify Securities India Pvt. Ltd, HDFC Securities Ltd, and Yoha Securities in various capacities.

Ramakrishna joined IPAMC in September 2004.

At IPAMC, Ramakrishna is the custodian of finance function and is also responsible for driving Product Development, ETF & International Business besides overseeing the Communications function. He plays an integral role in driving the key profitability agenda through financial & corporate planning, budgetary control and corporate finance. He is also responsible for driving key initiatives and projects.

He has 33 years of rich experience across industries like FMCG and banking & financial services.

By qualification, Ramakrishna is a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant.

Amar joined IPAMC in January 2013.

In his current role as Head of Retail & Institutional Business, he is responsible for driving the overall business objectives. For most part of his career, he has been associated with IPAMC in various roles having started his career in 2001.

In his past role as Head of Retail Business at IPAMC, he drove the organization to a leadership position. Prior to this, he was responsible for managing key Institutional clients and driving overall business growth.

He has an overall work experience of around 20 years across the Banking & Financial Services Industry.

His qualifications include B.Com, R. A. Podar College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai and Master of Management Studies (Finance), Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

Abhijit joined IPAMC in July 2014.

In his current role, Abhijit is responsible for driving growth of the organization, through an effective marketing & digital strategy and enhanced customer experience.

He has a total work experience of 21 years in the Banking & Financial Services Industry across verticals like Customer Experience, Alternate Channels, Sales & Distribution and Direct Marketing. Prior to joining IPAMC, he has worked with firms like Citibank N.A., ING Vysya Life Insurance and Standard Chartered Bank.

He is a Post Graduate in Marketing from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).

Amit joined IPAMC in April 2014.

Amit is responsible for driving the credit and investment risk functions at the AMC. He is a risk management specialist and comes with a rich overall experience of 23 years.

Prior to his association with IPAMC, he has worked as the Director, Financial Institutions Credit Risk at Bank of America, N.A. In the past, he has also worked with ICICI Bank Limited in the Credit Risk Management Group.

His qualifications include Masters in Management Studies (Finance) from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (University of Mumbai) and Bachelor of Engineering (Production) from Fr. Agnel College of Engineering (University of Mumbai).

Vikas joined IPAMC in April 2018.

At IPAMC, in his current role he is responsible for managing the Operations and Technology function.

He has work experience of over 25 years in all facets of retail banking including distribution of loans, debt management, fraud risk, credit policy, portfolio management and branch banking.

Prior to this, he was associated with ICICI Bank. At the Bank he headed the strategy and planning, customer experience, innovation, branch transformation and risk management for retail Branches and also led various initiatives in the areas of service and operational efficiency through innovations in branch channel for the Bank. He has been a speaker at various global forums.

Vikas is a Bachelor of Commerce from Rajasthan University, Jaipur, and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Ajmer University.

Nikhil joined ICICI Prudential AMC in January 2008.

In his current role, Nikhil spearheads the Human Resources & Administration function for the organization.

Prior to joining IPAMC, he has worked with firms like WNS Global Services, eFunds International and ABC Consulting. Nikhil has 19 years of work experience across multiple industries.

Nikhil is a post graduate in management (Human Resources) from Indian Education Society’s Management College and Research Centre (IES’s MCRC) and Bachelors of Commerce (B.Com) from Mithibai College.

Vivek started his career at IPAMC in November 1999.

In his current role, he is responsible for driving the business objectives in the Institutional segment, pan India. He is a key driver in strengthening institutional client relationships and facilitating asset growth.

In his past roles at IPAMC, he led the Institutional business for the West Zone and has also worked in Retail business across various locations.

He has an overall work experience of 21 years. His qualifications include PGDBA from ICFAI.

Aniruddha joined IPAMC in August 2008.

Aniruddha in his current role is responsible for driving the Retail Business through a mix of distribution channels. The retail sales and distribution team is an integrated unit of business delivery (sales and service), primarily addressing distributors and through them, individual investors’ needs.

He has an overall work experience of around 21 years across Banking & Financial Services Industry.

Aniruddha is a Chartered Accountant and also has a degree in Cost Accountancy.

Suresh has been associated with IPAMC since 2007.

At IPAMC, his responsibilities include building operational excellence and scalability in the area of Operations and Investor services to meet organizational growth agenda.

Suresh has 22 years of post-qualification experience in the field of finance, taxation and asset management. He is a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree from Mumbai University.

Adil joined IPAMC in October 2007.

In his current role, Adil drives the Public Relations and Communication function for the organization. At IPAMC, he has anchored several functions like Product Communications, Product Development and Management.

He has 21 years of experience across Investment Management, Financial Services & Banking, and Auto in Asia, Europe & Africa.

His qualifications include MSc in International Banking & Finance from The University of Salford, UK and MBA from AMU.

Rakesh joined ICICI Prudential AMC in August 2011.

In his current role, Rakesh is responsible for managing Compliance & Secretarial function for the organisation.

He has an overall 17 years of post-qualification experience in the field of compliance, legal and secretarial matters. Prior to his association with ICICI Prudential AMC, he has worked with Travelex India, Axis Bank and Paternoster India.

By qualification, he is an A.C.S, Bachelor of Law and a graduate in Commerce.

S. Naren joined ICICI Prudential AMC in October 2004.

As ED & CIO, Naren oversees the entire investment function across the Mutual Fund and International Advisory Business. He is instrumental in the overall investment strategy development and execution.

He has a rich experience of around 31 years in almost all spectrum of the financial services industry ranging from investment banking, fund management, equity research, and stock broking operations.

His qualifications include B. Tech degree from IIT Chennai and MBA (Finance) from IIM Kolkata.

Rahul has re-joined ICICI Prudential AMC now as CIO of Fixed Income.

He has been earlier associated with the AMC for the period July 2004 to October 2009 as Co- Head - Fixed Income. In his earlier he was responsible for managing 8 debt funds with primary responsibility on Govt. Bonds and Corporate Bonds trading and involved monitoring of the factors like key economic developments, market liquidity, forex movement etc. He has been a key contributor to our success on the fixed income side in the past.

He has an overall work experience of around over 24 years. In his previous role with Standard Chartered Bank, he was a Senior Rates Trader & Head of Primary Dealership Desk.

Rahul currently manages 8 funds at ICICI Prudential i.e. ICICI Prudential Liquid Plan, ICICI Prudential Flexible Income Plan, ICICI Prudential Floating Rate Fund, ICICI Prudential Banking & PSU Debt Fund, . ICICI Prudential Medium Term Plan, ICICI Prudential Gilt Fund (All Options). ICICI Prudential Multiple Yield Fund, ICICI Prudential Capital Protection Oriented Fund,

Rahul holds a Bachelors degree in Science and an MBA from Bhopal University. Besides Standard Chartered Bank he has worked with various other organizations like Franklin Templeton, UTI Bank, SMIFS Securities, Khandwala Finance Ltd and RR Financial Consultants.

Rahul loves reading and is a keen follower of Formula 1 and tennis.

Rahul joined ICICI Prudential AMC in Nov 2010.

At ICICI Prudential AMC, Rahul is responsible for anchoring the Real Estate Business and driving team synergies. Rahul has an overall work experience of around 28 years. His expertise and core competency has been in the in depth understanding of the real estate segment and evaluating and investing in real estate projects. He has also managed one of the largest and first FDI transactions that happened in the Indian real estate space in 2004.

Prior to ICICI Prudential AMC, he has been associated with companies like Arthur Anderson Corporate Finance, Ernst and Young Transaction Advisory Services, RSM Advisors Private Limited and till recently was associated with Sun Apollo Real Estate Advisors.

Rahul, is a Chartered Accountant, and has also completed the Cost Accountancy and Intermediate level Company Secretary Course.

Mr. Anand Shah is Head – PMS and AIF Investments, having joined IPAMC in Feb 2021. .

Anand Shah has more than two decades of rich fund management experience in the Asset Management industry, most recently as CEO of NJ Asset Management. Prior to this stint, he was Deputy CEO and Head of Investments at BNP Paribas Asset Management Company responsible for Investments and overseeing both onshore and offshore mandates subadvised and Sales.

Anand has previously won many laurels and prestigious awards for his fund management. He was the recipient of ‘The CIO of the Year Award 2014-15’ from Asia Asset Management and has also won many other fund level awards for his investment performance.

Anand’s association with BNP Asset Management was a little less than a decade having joined them in March 2011. Prior to joining BNP Paribas Asset Management Company, Anand was the Head of Equities at Canara Robeco Asset Management for a period of three years starting March 2008. He was previously associated with ICICI Prudential Asset Management in the capacity of Co-Head Equities and as Vice President Investments at Kotak Mutual Fund for a period of six years from May 2000 to December 2006.

By qualification, he is a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and holds a B.E. degree from Regional Engineering College, Surat.

In his career spanning over two decades, Shekhar has handled responsibilities across various profiles within investment management space and has worked with trusted brands like Unit Trust of India and ICICI Bank Ltd. He has hands-on experience across corporate lending, structured finance, private equity, special situation and distressed debt.

He was a partner at AION Capital, where he was responsible for originating, executing and managing buyout transaction, Structured Credit and Distress deals. Earlier he was associated with ICICI Bank in their structured finance and distressed debt group. Shekhar is a rank holder CA - Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He was amongst the Top 50 all-India rank holders’ list at both the intermediate and final levels of the ICAI.

Mr. Anup Bagchi is an Executive Director on the Board of ICICI Bank since February 1, 2017. He has a management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He has been with the ICICI Group since 1992. He holds the responsibilities for Retail Banking at the Bank. He also heads the ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth, the CSR arm of the ICICI Group.

He is responsible for the Retail Banking Group, Digital Channels and Partnerships, Rural and Inclusive Banking Group, Data Sciences and Analytics Group and the Corporate Brand Group for the Bank. He also oversees retail products, remittances and NRI services for the International Banking business.

He represented the ICICI Group in various regulatory committees of key bodies such as RBI and SEBI. He was a member of RBI’s Expert Committee on Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and of SEBI’s Committee on Financial and Regulatory Technologies (CFRT). He was in the Executive Committee of National Securities Depository Ltd., (NSDL), Advisory Committee of BSE Limited and was co Chairman of FICCI’s Capital Markets Committee. He was also a member of SEBI’s Secondary Markets Advisory Committee (SMAC), Fair Market Conduct Committee and Committee on Financial and Regulatory Technologies and Risk Management Review Committee.

He has been honoured with ‘The Asian Banker Promising Young Banker Award’ and `Industry Newsmaker Award’ by Zee Business.

Mr. Bagchi has worked extensively in the areas of retail banking, corporate banking and treasury and investment banking. Prior to his current role, he was the Managing Director & CEO of ICICI Securities Limited. Under his leadership, ICICI Securities won several prestigious awards.

Mr. Sandeep Batra is an Executive Director on the Board of ICICI Bank since December 23, 2020. Mr. Batra, a Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary, has been with the ICICI Group since 2000. He holds responsibilities of the Corporate Centre at the Bank.

He is responsible for the Operations and Customer Service Group, Phone Banking Group, Human Resource Management Group, Infrastructure Management Services Group, Technology Group, Legal Group, Corporate Communications, Secretarial Group and Government & Strategic Relations function. He also oversees regulatory and Board related matters for International Banking business. He is also administratively responsible for Risk function, Internal Audit and Financial Crime Prevention Group and Compliance Group.

Mr. Batra chairs the Board of ICICI Bank UK PLC. He is also on the boards of several ICICI Group companies – ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited, ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited, ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited and ICICI Venture Funds Management Company Limited.

In his previous stint with ICICI Bank, Mr. Batra was Group Compliance Officer. He has been a founder member of the ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited where he worked as Chief Financial Officer from September 2000 till 2006 and then as Executive Director and a member of its Board from January 2014 till July 2018. At ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited, he was responsible for finance, investments, actuarial and risk, and compliance functions. He was also instrumental in leading the company to India’s first IPO in the insurance space.

Mr. Seck Wai-Kwong is Chief Executive Officer of Eastspring Investments, the USD 248 billion Asian investment management arm of Prudential plc. As CEO, he has overall responsibility for growing the business, deepening the investment capabilities and expanding Eastspring’s global and local retail and institutional client base.

Prior to joining Eastspring in April 2019, he was CEO Asia-Pacific for State Street Bank & Trust since 2011. He had joined State Street from the Singapore Exchange where he was Chief Financial Officer for eight years. His professional career had been focused primarily on wealth management and investment banking, having held senior-level positions in the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), Lehman Brothers and DBS Bank.

Mr. Wai-Kwong is a Board Member of GIC. He is also the Chairman of the Investment Committee and a Trustee of the Singapore Police Force’s pension fund. He chairs the Future Leaders Council at the Wealth Management Institute of Nanyang Technological University. He is on the Global Advisory Board of Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts, and a member of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology’s Business School Advisory Council.

Mr. Wai-Kwong earned a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from the Wharton School with a major in finance, and a Bachelor of Economics with first-class honours from Australia’s Monash University, where he is also a Vice-Chancellor Professorial Fellow and serves on the Monash Philanthropy Council. On Singapore’s National Day in 2017, the Republic awarded him the Public Service Medal.

Mr. Ved Prakash Chaturvedi is an Engineer and an MBA from IIM Bangalore. He was a member of the founding team at CRISIL. Mr. Chaturvedi has been associated with Indian capital market for more than 30 years.

During 2002 to 2010 he held the position of Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of Tata Asset Management Limited. Further, from 2011 to 2014 he held position as Member of the Management Council of L&T Finance Holdings Limited and Board member of L&T Investment Management Limited.

During his career he has been involved in building investment management and asset management businesses both organically and through acquisitions. The rapid growth of the Tata Mutual Fund business and later, the acquisition of Fidelity Fund Management India business by L&T Investment Management Limited have been notable achievements of his leadership while he served the respective companies.

He has also served on the Board of the Association of Mutual Funds in India. He has been a founding Board member of the Financial Planning Standards Board in India and has also served the Confederation of Indian Industry and several other regulatory committees including the mutual fund advisory committee of SEBI.

Mr. Dilip Karnik has completed Bachelor of Science from University of Pune in the year 1969 and is also a Gold medalist in Law from University of Pune. He was elevated as Additional Judge of Hon’ble Bombay High Court on October 12, 2001 and was sworn in as a permanent Judge on October 4, 2004. He retired on May 9, 2012 and is presently practicing as Arbitration and Legal Consultant. Mr. Karnik is currently an Independent Director on the Boards of ICICI Securities Primary Dealership Limited and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited.

Mr. Naved Masood was in the Indian Administrative Service and he retired as the Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in February 2015. He has also served as a Member on the Board of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). Mr. Masood has served as the Public Interest Director on the Board of the National Stock Exchange of India Limited from July 2016 to February 2020.

During his tenure in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Masood oversaw drafting, enactment and initialization of the Companies Act 2013. He was also responsible for development of Corporate Governance framework under the Companies Act and its implementation. He played a lead role in developing the Competition Policy and Rules and setting up of the Indian Institute of Capital Markets.

Mr. Naved Masood while serving as Member on the Board of SEBI, was actively involved in matters concerning running of the listed companies and SEBI-regulated entities like Stock Brokers, Mutual Funds, Foreign Portfolio Investors, and Private Equity etc. He had also actively contributed to the evolution and amendments of SEBI policies on Takeover Regulations, Insider Trading Regulations, Alternative Investment Funds, ESOPs and corporatization of Stock Exchanges etc.

Mr. Masood is a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Bachelor of Law (Honours).

Mr. Antony Jacob is the Chief Executive Officer at Apollo 24|7, the digital business unit of Apollo Hospitals. He had been associated with Apollo Munich since April 2009 as the Chief Executive Officer and Whole Time Director. Mr. Antony Jacob transformed Apollo Munich into a profitable-growth company which was later sold to HDFC Ergo.

Mr. Antony Jacob is a scale-up specialist and has a track record of building credible companies in General & Health Insurance; he has a distinct ability to transform companies on customer deliverables through product innovation and by fostering a customer-centric culture to enhance the top line while creating operational improvements to improve the bottom line.

Prior experience of Mr. Antony Jacob includes Regional Finance Director, Asia & Middle East, Royal & Sun Alliance Group. Between 2000 and 2007, Mr. Antony Jacob created India’s first private sector general insurance company; he was initially the founding Deputy Managing Director and became the CEO & Managing Director for Royal Sundaram General Insurance.

Mr. Antony Jacob started his working career in 1986 with ITC Ltd in Kolkata before moving in 1994 for a short period to Continental Grain ( India) now Cargill (India).

He is a committee member of the Indo German Chamber of Commerce, and was on RBI’s Pension and Insurance sub-committee. Most recently, Mr. Antony Jacob was awarded the CA. Business Leader – Mid Corporate (BFSI), a Recognition Award from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

Mr. Antony is a Chartered Accountant, from The Institute of Chartered Accountants, India and Bachelor of Commerce, from Loyola-College, Chennai, India.

Ms. Preeti Reddy is currently the Chairwoman, of Kantar, South Asia, the global consumer insights and consulting company. In her previous role, she was the CEO with P&L responsibility of IMRB/Kantar till 2021. As country manager of one of Kantar’s ‘Big Six’ markets, Ms. Reddy was part of the global leadership team and an important contributor to Kantar’s growth.

Ms. Preeti Reddy is widely recognized as a thought leader and has been at the forefront of the development of the Indian consumer insights industry. She is on the advisory boards of the Modern Marketing Association (MMA), Delhi Skill Building and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU), LeadUp (an HR start-up) and on the Governing Council of the Centre for Marketing in Emerging Economies (CMEE) at IIM Lucknow. She is also the Chairperson for the western region for the CII-Indian Women Network. Since 2015, she has been chosen from over 500 women professionals as one of Impact’s ’50 Most Influential Women Professionals in Indian Media, Marketing and Advertising for five consecutive years.

Ms. Preeti Reddy is a result-oriented business leader with a strong track record of performance in highly competitive, diverse environments. Her four decades of experience in advising clients across a spectrum of industries on consumer-led market strategy including branding and communication, corporate image and, most recently, sustainability transformation has helped clients deliver significant business growth. In the course of her career, she has built a deep understanding of demand side market facing issues that companies face and of branding and communication across B2B and B2C sectors.

Ms. Preeti Reddy has a BA (Hons) degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University and is an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur. Prior to joining Kantar, she was the CEO of LMRB (Sri Lanka) and has worked in advertising, consulting and consumer insights on agency and client side, including with VST Industries and Tata Burroughs (now TCS).

Nimesh joined ICICI Prudential AMC (IPAMC) in 2007 as MD & CEO.

Prior to joining IPAMC, he was Senior General Manager at ICICI Bank where he handled many responsibilities including project finance, corporate banking and international banking. He also led ICICI Bank’s foray into Middle-East and African region and helped establish ICICI’s brand presence in these geographies and the International arena.

IPAMC has achieved leadership position in the Indian Mutual Fund industry under his leadership. His focus has been always on being investor-centric, maintaining high levels of transparency and disclosures besides sticking to basics. This has helped the company to establish itself as a credible and trust worthy brand.

He is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and has more than 28 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry.

Mr. P. H. Ravikumar is a commerce graduate and is an associate of Indian Institute of Bankers, Mumbai and also an associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers, London. He is an ‘Honorary Fellow’ of The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, UK.

Mr. Ravikumar has 48 years of financial sector experience with exposure at top/senior management levels. He had a professional banking career of over 33 years with the Bank of India and the ICICI Group. He was also the founding MD & CEO of NCDEX Ltd., of Invent Assets Securitisation & Reconstruction Private Limited (an ARC regulated by RBI) and a co-founder and Chairman of Vastu Housing Finance Corporation Ltd. (an affordable housing finance company). He was also the Chairman of Bharat Financial Inclusion Ltd. (formerly known as SKS Microfinance Ltd.) for about 8 years till its merger with IndusInd Bank Ltd. in July 2004. 

Mr. Ravikumar is also a member of the Board of Directors (the first non-European to be a Director) of Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI) U.K. which is a not-for-profit organization operating in over 35 countries under U.K’s Royal Charter involved in skill development in financial markets particularly in securities markets, wealth management, financial integrity and risk management.

In past, he has been a Director on the Boards of The Federal Bank Ltd, Fedbank Financial Services Limited, L&T Investment Management Co. Ltd. (mutual fund), BOB Capital Markets Ltd. (a merchant banking subsidiary of Bank of Baroda) and Eveready Industries Ltd., I G Petrochemicals Ltd., etc.

Mr. Ravikumar is presently serving as director on Boards of several listed and unlisted Companies.

Mr. Jyotin Mehta holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from University of Bombay and is also a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

Mr. Jyotin Mehta has served as Vice President and Chief of Internal Audit upto February 2018 in Voltas Limited. In his career, Mr. Mehta has held senior management position in TATA, ICICI and Shell group of Companies. Mr. Mehta has rich experience in the areas of Corporate finance, Internal Audit, corporate governance, risk and controls, Company law and legal and regulatory compliance and customer service.

Mr. Jyotin Mehta is also a visiting faculty at leading management schools in India, like Wellingkar Institute of Management. He is also an advisor in the domain of Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC).

Mr. Ranganayakulu was the Executive Director (Legal), Securities and Exchange Board of India from August 14, 2008 - August 11, 2017. He is instrumental in bringing various regulations and defending high profile enforcement actions, before Securities Appellate Tribunal, High Courts and Supreme Court. He joined SEBI in 1997 as a Division Chief. Prior to that he worked for ten years as Law Officer with HUDCO, Government of India enterprise. He was proactively involved in financing various housing, social and urban infrastructure projects.

Mr. Ranganayakulu has presented several papers on issues relating to securities market in national and international forums. He was on the Governing Board of Indian Institute of Capital Markets and was a member of various advisory committees of SEBI, including committees which framed Takeover Code and Insider Trading Regulations. He was a member of Indian delegation to UNIDROIT Geneva Securities Convention and has served as a member of Justice Lodha Committee in the matter of PACL Limited.

Mr Ranganayakulu is currently a member of Advisory Committee on Service Providers of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India and Disciplinary Action Committee of National Stock Exchange of India. He is also enrolled with Bar council of Maharashtra & Goa and is practicing law.

Mr. Pramod Rao joined ICICI Bank as its Group General Counsel in August 2018 and provides strategic oversight to the legal function for the ICICI group including its banking subsidiaries in the UK and Canada. Mr. Rao also oversees the Whistle Blower Policy of the ICICI Bank, and reports to the Audit Committee of the ICICI Bank for this role.

Previously, Mr. Rao had served as General Counsel for Citi India cluster (July 2013 till midAugust 2018), and was responsible for the Legal & Secretarial functions within Citi India cluster (incorporating Bangladesh & Sri Lanka). He also oversaw Citi Security & Investigative Services (CSIS). Mr. Rao chaired the Citi India Diversity Council and was a member of various internal management and oversight committees. He was also instrumental in the establishment of Citi’s legal center of excellence in Mumbai that serves legal requirements of multiple business segments across multiple geographies.

Prior to Citi India, Mr. Rao worked with IndusLaw, a law firm, as a resident partner, overseeing its Banking and Finance practice. He joined IndusLaw in 2012 and was instrumental in setting up the firm's office in Mumbai.

Prior to IndusLaw, Mr. Rao worked with ICICI Bank for over 15 years. After a brief stint at Mulla and Mulla Craigie Blunt & Caroe, in August 1996 he joined the erstwhile Industrial Credit & Investment Corporation of India Ltd (ICICI, which subsequently merged with ICICI Bank). He rose to become the General Counsel of ICICI Bank in December 2005 and served in that capacity until April 2012. During the course of his career at ICICI Bank, Mr. Rao has overseen the legal function for all segments of the ICICI Bank including wholesale banking, retail banking, treasury and markets, international banking, playing a key role in the establishment of and in advising group companies. He also advised the Board of Directors and Board constituted committees of ICICI Bank, and served on the Board of Directors of various ICICI group companies.

Mr. Rao presently serves as a member of Board of Directors of ICICI Securities Ltd, ICICI Prudential Trust Ltd and ICICI Trusteeship Services Ltd. Mr. Rao also serves as a member of the Legal & Banking Operations Committee of Indian Banks' Association (IBA), of the National Committee for Regulatory Affairs constituted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), of the Advisory Council of Sahamati and of the SEBI Subcommittee for Regulatory Sandbox, which inter alia evaluates suitability of applications in the regulatory sandbox framework.

Mr. Rao has a deep interest in LawTech & startups. He has co-founded a LawTech enterprise, served as a Board member for two startups. He also advises and mentors startups under the aegis of ICICI Bank’s Startup Engagement Team & its Innovation Lab, NSRCEL of IIMB and of the No Changemaker Left Behind program by Agami, and leads piloting and adoption of technology solutions for various business, operational and legal requirements at ICICI group. He has collaborated on certain iSPIRT projects including Sahay-GeM and the Sahamati AA Ecosystem.

In the last few years, Mr. Rao has also played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and adoption of online dispute resolution (ODR) by ICICI Bank and ICICI group. Mr. Rao also engaged with policy makers, the government and the judiciary on ODR, which culminated in Niti Aayog constituted committee chaired by Justice Sikri penning the report on Designing the Future of Dispute Resolution. The ODR Policy Plan for India and separately, in the launch of ODR Handbook available at www.disputeresolution.online. He continues to play a key role in the ODR ecosystem.

Mr. Rao is also associated with IDIA – Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access – an NGO dedicated to assisting students from underprivileged background in entering premier law schools in India. He has also served as a founding member of the Governing Board of the NLSIU Alumni Association from 2015-2020. He also participates in and contributes to various law and regulatory reform initiatives of the government, regulators and industry forums

Mr. Lakshman Kumar has extensive leadership experience of over 30 years at Board/Executive Management level of multinational financial services businesses in the areas of regulatory compliance, operational risk management and corporate governance with focus on asset management.

At present (since April 2016), Mr. Lakshman is Director- Risk and Regulatory Services Practice at Ingenia Consultants Pte Ltd, Singapore. At Ingenia, he is responsible to lead a team of consultants for providing client focused regulatory, operational compliance, risk management and internal audit services to the firm’s clients.

From 2001 to April 2016, Mr. Lakshman held the following Executive Management roles:

• as Regional Head of Compliance, Operational Risk and Corporate Governance, Eastspring Investments, Singapore (the Asia asset Management business of Prudential plc, UK);
• Member of Eastspring’s Management Board and Director on several Eastspring Companies in Asia;
• Chair/Member of Audit Committees of Eastspring businesses in Asia;
• Head of Risk Management, Prudential Corporation Asia, Hong Kong;
• Head of Asset Management Compliance, Prudential Corporation Asia, Hong Kong.

Mr. Lakshman joined Prudential ICICI Asset Management Company Limited (now ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited), India in April 1998 as a member of initial senior management team and held the role of Senior Vice President, Finance, Compliance and Company Secretary till September 2001.

Mr. Lakshman also held the roles as Senior Vice President- Finance and Compliance- GIC Asset Management, Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer and Company Secretary of DSP Merrill Lynch Asset Management and Assistant General Manager in Reserve Bank of India/National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).

Mr. Lakshman holds post-graduate degrees in Management, Commerce and Public Enterprise Management. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Indian Institute of Bankers.
